This is a simple recipe of fried rice for two people...
Ingredients:
- Boiled Rice (you can also use left over rice in this recipe) - 1 Bowl
- Cooking Oil (or Ghee) - 3 tsp
- Turmeric (Haldi) - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilly powder (Mirch Powder) - 1/2 tsp (according to taste)
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Dried Mango Powder (Amchur) - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt (Namak) - according to taste
- Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder) - 1/3 tsp
- Green chilly (Hari Mirch) - 1
- Onion (Pyaaz) - 1
- Tomatoes (Tamater) - 2
- Green Bell pepper (Shimla Mirch) - 1/2
- Boiled Potato (Ubla Aaloo) -1
- Boiled Peas (Matar) - 1/4 cup
Recipe :
- Chop all the vegetables (Green Chilly, Onion, Tomatoes, Bell Pepper, Potato).
- Pour Cooking oil into the pan and heat it.
- Add Cumin Seeds and fry the chopped onions till golden brown.
- Add all the spices (Turmeric, Red chilly, Salt, Garam Masala, Coriander Powder and Dried Mango Powder) one by one.
- Add all the remaining vegetables in the following order (Green Chilly, Bell Pepper, Tomatoes, Potatoes and Peas).
- Stir the mixture for 2 minutes.
- Now add rice and fry for 1 minute.
- Serve the hot dish with pickles or curd...
